I've noticed that a lot of the things I like to do now are things that I will probably enjoying doing when I'm eighty. So it goes.

No Happy Ending

Yes, it's true. The wedding is less than a month away! I'm not sure how I would get everything done that needs to get done if I had a job, so I applaud the ladies who did it. Got back from Syracuse Wednesday. My mom's friends and my aunt threw me an awesome bridal shower. It was a positively gorgeous day, the food was delicious, the mimosas were yummy and best of all, I got to see my family, my mom's friends, my friends and my friends' moms. I felt very loved. Being home was great. I loved spending time with my mom and I finally got to meet my nephew, Declan. Fiona is still the sweetest girl on the planet - I could not love her more. I also visited Brittney at the high school and watched her teach and bought a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the cafeteria. The whole time I went to school there I never bought one and now I know why - they put way too much peanut butter in it. I also visited a family whose kids I babysat for years. And it's been years since I last saw them. They are such an incredible family. I really miss them. Time flew by and I didn't get to do everything I wanted - no ice cream at Friendly's or shopping at the Salvation Army, but I did go to Wegmans three times.

The invitations are out! Well, most of them are. We have a couple stragglers that will get out in the next couple days. We can't wait to get the RSVPs back! We're eager to see who can come AND to see how creative people are with their responses.

I have only two more days left at Nickelodeon. I don't think it's really set in yet. I'm too excited right now to think that being unemployed tends to be kind of stressful. It will just be so nice to have time to plan the wedding, visit my family and friends in Syracuse and enjoy this time in my life. When we get back from the honeymoon it's time for me to really think about what I want to do next. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be happy to hear them.
