Beyond words...

My matron of honor, Laura, flew in from Denver on Friday afternoon for a weekend of dress shopping. We had two appointments set up. The first one was Friday afternoon. I liked a dress there, but I wasn't in love with it. I was worried I wouldn't find something I liked better when we drove down to Orange County Saturday for our second appointment. This salon had over 4,000 dresses, so if I didn't find something there I was in trouble. But, I found it - the dress of my dreams! I can't say too much because I want it to be a surprise, but I can say that I never knew I could love an article of clothing so much!

Picture Perfect

We are very happy with our decision to hire Chris Humphreys to be our photographer. He took some amazing pictures of us this weekend. We look so comfortable and happy - I love them and I can't wait to see what our wedding photos look like.

Brandon's dad headed back to Missouri this morning. It was so nice to have him here. While in Santa Barbara the last few days, he did tons of research to find the best place to host our rehearsal dinner. It is such a generous gift and we are very grateful.

Where it's at...

Okay, folks - here it is. Our wedding reception will be held at The University Club of Santa Barbara on October 21, 2006. As soon as Brandon and I walked in we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. We love the cozy rooms and big fireplaces. The building dates back to the 1920's. We hope it will be a great destination for everyone!
