I've noticed that a lot of the things I like to do now are things that I will probably enjoying doing when I'm eighty. So it goes.

Looking for things to do

My job is a bit slow right now. I try to pass the time constructively, but it's not easy. A week of passing time is easy, five months is not. The novelty has worn off. Yesterday I discovered the genius of YouTube. I watched an entire episide of Fifteen and today I searched around for a while and found some interesting clips. The best one was a fairly raunchy outake reel of 'Full House.' I would be there now, but the volume doesn't seem to be working. For a while there I was into crossword puzzles and even attempted to create my own. At least three times a day I play Alchemy on Yahoo! Games. So far my highest score is 14819 - Alchemist 2nd Class. I've been able to plan most of the wedding and the honeymoon with this time, which is probably the only good thing about this job. That and the paycheck, which although small, helps pay the bills. I've bought and returned many, many pairs of shoes from Zappos and have purchased the occasional pair of jeans and a few shirts from different websites. I frequent lots of different websites throughout the day for news and recipes and reviews. I make a lot of lists and update my calendar everyday. I also have a secret project that I'm working on, but even that is almost finished.

I'm starting to think that maybe I should start reading. I felt kind of weird about it before, but now maybe I don't care so much. If you have any other suggestions, I would greatly appreciate hearing them.

I'd love to attempt the crossword you created. How cool! Send me your email if you would so I can add you to my address book now now.
