I've noticed that a lot of the things I like to do now are things that I will probably enjoying doing when I'm eighty. So it goes.

I know you make fun of me.
What have we been doing with ourselves? Well, I'll tell you. We had a very fun Easter brunch at our place on Sunday. Brandon and I exchanged Easter baskets with my brother and his fiance. They gave us a kick ass bottle of Champagne that Zane got in Champagne, France of all places. It was delicious and I drank it lots. Our very good friends, Chris and Shari, also came over. Shari made awesome French muffins (my mom's recipe!) and scones that Brandon couldn't stop eating because he has an addiction to Shari's scones. Hacker (Chris) brought bacon and cooked it up real nice and crispy. I ate three strips because I love pork. I made quiche with goat cheese and mint with a homemade crust and roasted potatoes with rosemary - yummmmm. After gorging ourselves we had an Easter egg hunt! It was a hoot! Then we all got really tired and everyone left and I took a two-hour nap while Brandon played on the computer. It was a very good Easter.
On Monday, we went to Hacker's birthday at a rollerskating rink. Even though I won a rollerskating limbo contest when I was five (true story), I was still pretty nervous getting out there. I guess that's not so surprising seeing that I don't remember the last time I was up on skates. It was not easy, but Brandon held my hand and we were quite adorable. We had a lot of fun - it was an awesome party.
Tomorrow we are meeting with a prospective officiant. She's a lady.

My Only Blog Reader
This is John. Not only is he the only person who reads this blog, he is one of Brandon's groomsmen. We have never met, but I know this much - he is an attorney (very much like my matron of honor) and he's the father of two adorable kids. I was also just informed that he is a golfer, but he doesn't use clubs. What?!?! How can that be? Find out soon in another mindblowing entry of this very blog.
